ENTER

ENTER The idea behind ENTER was built upon the observation of people in the metro, in cafés, and in waiting rooms— deeply immersed and absorbed in their phones, lost in the allure of the screen, clearly signaling their absence from their immediate surroundings. It evolved into an art installation that transforms this familiar daily image— without offering answers or taking a stance— but instead, poses the question: ENTER the shrinking of the self into a profile on the glowing blue screen? ENTER the thousands of friends on Facebook and Instagram? ENTER the endless knowledge – the reckless information flow? ENTER participation in situations that one previously never even knew existed?

DESCRIPTION

Project 1: Plaster, Iron, Plexiglas, Aluminium, Polyester.

Installation of five female figures made of plaster, placed on an iron structure that spreads freely across a space immersed in a uniform black color. They appear to be floating, while a blue luminous line connects them. The figures are rendered at a smaller-than-life scale, lost within a space that feels dominant yet enigmatic. The black background, creating a threatening environment, further reinforces the weakening of the individual presence. The glowing blue line running through the scene seems to be the only link between the elements.

Work 2 — Metallic construction with illuminated plexiglass

A giant mobile phone, displaying the icons of most social networks, hovers above a tiny human figure. Suspended in mid-air, the person struggles to decide and align themselves with a different reality. Will technology and social media help solve humanity’s eternal questions — or the opposite? ...Like a geometer who arrives one evening in the territory. Dimensions: 45*6*154cm

Work 3 – Composite construction made of wood, zinc, plexiglass, and polyester.

The users – symbolic silhouettes – regardless of age or geographic distance (parallel lines intersecting at the point of infinity) connect and form one big collective. Dimensions: 100*15*200cm
